Boston Bruins Youth Hockey Comes to Concord

The Boston Bruins Youth Hockey Development program came to Concord on Feb. 25, to play street hockey with kids at the Concord Boys & Girls Club new facility.

The event, co-sponsored by Sal's Pizza, gave the kids a chance to learn how to play the game "in a safe and structured environment." The equipment was provided by the team as part of its community center outreach program.

The kids enjoyed pizza from Sal's, which has a location in the Capital Plaza on Storrs Street, after playing.

Here's a short video of the kids chanting for the Bruins' mascot, Blades, to score.
