Puzzling Puzzles, Games, and Mind-Bending Testers

In the newly expanded Gibson’s Bookstore on South Main Street, shoppers are going to find a lot more than books, especially on Small Business Saturday on Nov. 30.

One item that might be on your gift list is a puzzle or two, or maybe a brain teasing, challenging game, or something else.

Laura Miller, formerly of Imagination Village, the toy store where learning was cool, now manages the toy section at Gibson’s and pointed to some pretty cool challenging puzzles in the store.

“You can find puzzles at all different levels of learning,” she said, “to challenge your brain and develop new skills. Puzzles are a great way to spend time with your family, especially during the holidays.”

Ever want to go to the Eiffel Tower? Well, build it instead. How about an Empire State Building that glows in the dark? IQ testers, mazes, block toys, and other games are all ready to be purchased.
