Thank-A-Teacher Program Doles Out $19K in Grants
Money went to a 3D printer, a solar telescope, and other items for Concord public schools.
Are you looking for a way to thank a teacher, counselor, crossing guard, or other staff member at the end of the school year? The Thank-A-Teacher program, through the Concord Trust for the Enhancement of Public Education, allows parents and students to recognize special educators while giving back to Concord’s schools.
Honorees will receive a thank you card from the Concord Trust which can include a personalized message from the donor. All donations through the Thank-A-Teacher program fund grants to support innovative projects in the district. The mission of The Concord Trust is to encourage collaboration and the sharing of new ideas throughout Concord’s public schools.
This year, the Trust funded 12 grants totaling $19,600 to support programs such as a 3D printer at Rundlett Middle School, a solar telescope at Concord High School, and story starter Lego kits at Christa McAuliffe Elementary School.
