Schools Closed in Concord, Capital Region

Cancellations issued due to impending storm.

Schools across Concord were cancelled this morning due to the upcoming snowstorm, which is expected to dump a foot of snow on the city later today.

Concord Public Schools were just cancelled for the day, according to an alert issued by Superintendent Chris Rath.

Other school systems in the region that are closed for the day include the Merrimack Valley School District, Bishop Brady High School, which cancelled classes last night, St. John Regional School, The Derryfield School in Manchester, and Dunbarton Public Schools.

Hopkinton will close at 11:45 a.m. and offer no afternoon kindergarten.

Chichester will close school at 12:30 pm. and has also cancelled afternoon kindergarten.

Pembroke Academy, Pembroke Hill, Pembroke Three Rivers, and Pembroke Village schools will all dismiss students at 1 p.m. 

Bow Public Schools will have a two hour early dismissal with no afternoon kindergarten.
