The Huffington Post has acquired Super 8-mm film footage of the 1986 Challenger disaster in which Concord teacher , and others, perished.
The footage was shot by Jeffrey Ault, a California teenager at the time, who was visiting Florida and decided to attend the launch of the Challenger.
According to Ault, the film remained in a box for more than 26 years. He filmed the liftoff with a Chinon Super 8 camera while his friend, Bill Graber, took pictures.
