Getting Wet for Concord Boys & Girls Club

Teachers and administrators in the Concord School District got wet for a good cause on June 16, a fundraiser for the Concord Boys & Girls Club.
At Rollins Park, after the McAuliffe Elementary School Field Day events, teachers and administrators at the school and a couple of other schools, challenged each other to raise money for the club or get wet.
The bid was $10 but some were challenged to raise more, or did, or get sprayed.
The Concord Fire Department then came by and got everyone wet, as part of the challenge. Students were then allowed to run around and cool off themselves.
It's unknown how much money was raised but it was clear that everyone had a great time.
