Community Colleges in NH Will Lower Tuition this Fall

5 percent cut follows restoration of funding by the Legislature.

The Community College System of New Hampshire will be lowering tuition this fall by 5 percent, according to WMUR-TV.

The tuition cost drop was put in place after the Legislature restored funding to the entire higher education system in the Granite State after a $32.5 million funding cut the previous biennium.

Currently, in-state tuition for a single credit is $210. That price will drop to $200. For a full-time student, taking a minimum of 12 credits per semester, will see tuition costs drop to $4,800, according to the report.
