New Water Treatment Superintendent Hired in Concord

Phillppon was previously with the Westford Water Department in Massachusetts.

Marco Philippon was welcomed by the city this week to begin his task of overseeing the city’s Water Treatment Plant and operations of supplying drinking water throughout Concord. 

Philippon was previously the operations manager for the Westford Water Department in Massachusetts, where he was the primary certified operator of the Westford filtration treatment system. 

He has more than 25 years of operating and managerial experience with water and wastewater systems, including as a Project Manager for Weston & Sampson, Inc., a Distribution Manager for Pennichuck Water Works, and an Engineering Coordinator for Consumers NH Water Company.

Philippon is currently a Board of Directors Member, and was previously the President, for the New Hampshire Water Works Association and is also currently a Committee Member for New England Water Works Association. 

Philippons’ background and experience is extensive and the city of Concord is proud to welcome him aboard.
