Hassan, Legislative Leaders Check Out Progress at Hooksett Welcome Centers

Construction is ahead of schedule, according to officials.

Gov. Maggie Hassan, D-Exeter, legislative leaders, and state and local officials toured the new Hooksett Welcome Centers on July 17, reviewing the progress that has been made on the project to redevelop and upgrade the welcome centers on I-93.

Made possible by an innovative public-private partnership between various state agencies and Granite State Hospitality, LLC (Common Man Restaurants), the upgrades to the northbound and southbound facilities are estimated to create more than 130 long-term jobs, support tourism and spur economic growth.
