Big Papi may launch Red Sox Scratch Ticket in NH
The NH Lottery has ordered 1.3 million of the $5 Sox tickets, almost one per every Granite Stater.
Red Sox slugger David Ortiz is scheduled to be at the New Hampshire Statehouse on Monday, April 7, to join Gov. Maggie Hassan in launching a new Boston Red Sox scratch ticket, according to the NH Lottery.
Wally the Green Monster will also be there, as well as the 2013 World Series trophy. The Lottery notes, however, that Big Papi's appearance may be nixed due to scheduling conflicts.
The Sox scratch ticket event in Concord is scheduled for noon. The Red Sox do have a home game Monday, against the Texas Rangers.
The Boston Red Sox scratch ticket cost $5. The top prize is $75,000. It officially goes on sale Monday.
