Utility Truck Drives Off Loudon Road

Truck slid into swampland across from E. W. Sleeper.

A utility truck drove off the side of Loudon Road earlier this afternoon on Oct. 25, across the street from E. W. Sleeper equipment company.
A Concord Police officer was called to the area little past 5 p.m., for report of a truck driving into the woods, but according to scanner chatter, the officer could not find the truck.
About 15 minutes later, an earthmover was seen pulling the truck out of the swamp on the south west side of Loudon Road.
There appeared to be no injuries at the crash.
At around 5:30 p.m., the police officer was on the scene again, assisting with traffic as the truck was pulled out of the swamp.
By 6 p.m., the area was clear and traffic was again moving unimpeded on Loudon Road.
