SUV Crash Ties Up Route 9

Deerfield woman injured after vehicle accident.

A single vehicle crash tied up a section of Route 9 for about an hour earlier today, according to New Hampshire State Police.
At around 10:30 a.m. on July 17, a Dodge Durango driven by a Deerfield woman westbound crashed into the guardrails of the highway in Antrim. The woman, who was in her early 50s, was trapped inside the vehicle.
State troopers, Stoddard Police, and Stoddard Fire and Rescue teams were called to the scene to assist.
The woman was removed from the vehicle and taken to Cheshire Medical Center in Keene for treatment. Later, she was airlifted to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, with a serious leg injury.
The woman was wearing a safety belt at the time of the crash. Speed and alcohol do not appear to be factors, according to state police.
