Second Arrest Made in Concord Garden Theft Case

A second person has been arrested in a case involving food stolen from the Sycamore Community Garden Project on the grounds of NHTI, Concord’s community college.

Amanda Gosselin, 27, of Boscawen, was arrested on Jan. 10, and charged with theft by unauthorized taking or transfer.

Police began looking into the case in September 2013 of food stolen from the garden and later, charged Francisco D. Sorrentino III, of Boscawen, with two theft counts.

According to the state police, “information derived from witnesses allowed troopers to identify an additional suspect,” Gosselin.

State troopers took out a warrant for Gosselin who later turned herself in to police. She was charged and released. Gosselin is due in court on Jan. 13.
