POLICE LOG: Man Arrested at Concord Hospital Again

The following information was supplied by the Concord Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

  • Micah Nathan Sullivan, 36, of Concord, was arrested at 2:47 a.m. on Jan. 18, on a default or breach of bail conditions charge. An alleged incident occurred on North State Street and Sullivan, who was allegedly highly intoxicated, was transported to Concord Hospital by Concord Fire and Rescue teams. Part of his bail conditions from Jan. 17, bail required that he would refrain from using alcohol so he was arrested. Sullivan refused bail and was arraigned on Jan. 18.
  • Joshua J. Braz, 34, of Weare, was arrested at 4:40 p.m. on Jan. 26, on two bench warrants. Officers were called to Millstream Lane for a 911 hang up. Upon arrival, an officer spoke to Braz and another person who both stated that it was an accidental call. The officer ran their names through dispatch and the bench warrants came up against Braz. One was for a nonpayment of a fine on a driving after suspension charge from Dec. 19, 2012. The second was for a nonpayment of fine on an acts prohibitive possession of marijuana charge from Sept. 14, 2012. He was released on $2,000 recognizance bail and was arraigned on Feb. 4.
  • Joshua Darell Amell, 33, of Loudon, was arrested at 3:56 p.m. on Jan. 30, on a bench warrant. Officers were called to Concord Ortho at Pleasant Street for a patient acting up. Dispatch advised that Amell had a bench warrant for nonappearance in court on a criminal mischief charge. He was arrested and booked without incident and later released on $250 cash bail. He was arraigned on March 4.
  • Ashley Hutchinson, 19, of Pembroke, was arrested at 9:45 a.m. on Jan. 31, and charged with possession of controlled drugs, felony, and possession of drugs. The charges stem from an alleged incident on Oct. 29, 2012, at the Exit 13 onramp off Manchester Street. Police allegedly seized a cut straw with white residue (oxycodone). An officer was dispatched to Concord District Court to arrest Hutchinson on the charges. She was arraigned on Jan. 31.
  • Jonathan Michael McCarthy Jr., 29, of Concord, was arrested at 9:30 p.m. on Feb. 1, on a simple assault (personal weapons) charge. Officers were called to the Vegas Block apartments on 154 North Main Street for a report of a woman yelling that someone had just knocked her tooth out. The anonymous caller alleged that the man in the apartment was beating the woman up. The officers split the parties up to find out what happened. One officer noted that the woman was bloody and appeared to have a split lip. McCarthy reportedly had been napping prior to the argument. He allegedly threw a cheeseburger at the woman and headbutted her in the mouth. She yelled for help but he allegedly tried to put his hand over her mouth. McCarthy had allegedly been drinking since earlier in the day. The officer spoke to McCarthy, who reportedly had a laceration on his forehead that appeared to be fresh. He reportedly stated that he tripped over a table and that’s what caused the laceration. He denied headbutting his girlfriend but was later arrested. “He then changed his story and claimed that she hit him” the officer wrote, and requested the assault against him be investigated. He reportedly became irate but the police were able to calm him down later. McCarthy refused bail and was arraigned on Feb. 4.
  • John E. Daniels, 39, of Chichester, received a summons at 6:27 p.m. on March 21, on a theft charge from Shaw’s on D’Amante Drive. A loss prevention officer at the store alleged that Daniels was walking through the meat aisle with his son. The employee suspected that Daniels had been stealing at the store previously so he decided to follow him. At the self-scanning aisle, the store employee watched Daniels scan items but alleged that he skipped scanning a roasted chicken and instead, put it straight into a bag. He paid for other items, the employee stated. In the parking lot, the employee met with Daniels and asked him to return to the store. He was asked about the chicken and Daniels allegedly said he didn’t see it. Daniels was issued a summons and is due in court on May 13.
  • April Myers, 28, of Concord, was arrested at 10:15 p.m. on March 22, on a bench warrant from the Manchester Police Department. Police went to both North Spring Street and Pitman Street attempting to find Myers. While speaking with people in the lobby of one of the buildings, officers saw her exit the building. They arrested her and transported her to the Hooksett Toolbooth on I-93 and released her to the Manchester Police there.
  • Steven E. Grohosky, 51, of Hudson, was arrested at 8:40 p.m. on March 23, on an issuing bad checks charge from June 1, 2011, at the Blodgett Supply on Sheep Davis Road. Grohosky was picked up by Nashua Police on the warrant. He was released on $500 personal recognizance bail and is due in court on April 29.
  • Robert Gelinas, 25, of Concord, was arrested at 10:55 p.m. on March 28, on a simple assault (personal weapons) charge. Officers were sent to South Street to investigate a 911 hang up call where the caller was reported as hiding and whispering into the phone asking for police assistance. Upon approach, the house was quite and there was no answer at the door. Dispatch was able to reach the caller who was reportedly hiding behind the house and later met with police in the parking area. The woman was reportedly upset, crying, and shaking, after an alleged altercation with Gelinas. The woman stated that Gelinas called another woman at the home after reportedly getting into a fight at a bar and was now on Portsmouth Street. One of the women went to pick Gelinas up but later, the caller requested that Gelinas and the other leave the home. Gelinas allegedly became agitated and everyone began arguing, with Gelinas allegedly calling the other woman “a whore and a slut.” The caller alleged that Gelinas threw a can of beer at the other woman and hit her in the chest. He later allegedly spit in her face, grabbed her, and threw her down onto the floor. Later, he allegedly threw her across the floor towards the door. The caller then called 911 and left the house. Police spoke with the other woman who reported that Gelinas was allegedly “edgy” and later, became upset when the woman tried to leave with his mother. After the alleged assaults, the other woman left and Gelinas chased after her, allegedly blocking her from leaving in her car. Eventually, he reportedly moved and she drove off. Officers reported seeing a mirror on the floor, beer, and a Budweiser can that was partially empty lying on its side. They also recorded physical injuries on the woman. While gathering evidence, Gelinas reportedly called and the woman put him on speakerphone for the officers to hear the conversation. An alert was put out for Gelinas and he was later spotted at the Rite Aid on South Street and arrested. Gelinas refused bail and was arraigned on March 29.
  • Robert Kevin Curtis, 43, of Concord and Lebanon, was arrested at 4:08 p.m. on March 29, on two duty to report charges, one a felony, and a bench warrant. U.S. Marshals arrested Curtis and transported him to the Concord Police station. Curtis was wanted for nonappearance in Concord District Court. As evidence in the duty to report charge, police noted that on Jan. 4, that Curtis had a Facebook page. The report noted that the felony charge related to a Feb. 18, incident on Loudon Road. Curtis refused bail and was arraigned on April 1.
  • Ryan Carson, 25, of Concord, was arrested at 5:15 p.m. on March 30, on a criminal mischief (vandalism) charge. Carson turned himself into police on a warrant from March 29, involving a California ID owned by his wife, a Concord woman, that was destroyed or damaged. He was later released on $1,000 personal recognizance bail and is due in court on April 29.
  • Logan Daniel Nadeau, 18, of Pembroke, was arrested at 7 p.m. on March 31, on a bench warrant. While on foot patrol at the Durgin Parking Garage, an officer ran into three guys skateboarding. One was Nadeau who had an active warrant out of Concord District Court from Jan. 22, for nonpayment of a $261 fine on a driving without a valid license charge. Nadeau was arrested and later released on $500 personal recognizance bail. He was arraigned on April 2.
