Man Stabbed While in White Park

The Concord Police Department does not believe the stabbing was a random event.

A 19-year-old man was stabbed while inside White Park at about 2:40 a.m. on July 19, according to Concord police.

Police do not believe it was a random event.

The man was taken to Concord Hospital where he was recovering from the serious, but non-life-threatening injury, police said.

Officers responded to the area of Centre Street near Washington Street for the report of a stabbing and located the victim.

Concord Police and State Troopers searched the area but did not locate anyone in connection with the first-degree assault.
