Police Charge Man in Burglary Attempt

Joseph Call, 23, of Manchester, was held on $20,000 cash bail.

A Manchester man was arrested early this morning by police in connection with an attempted burglary at a local store yesterday. 

Manchester Police arrested Joseph Call, 23, at 2 a.m. on July 25, according to a press statement from the Concord Police Department.

Call, the department alleged, attempted to break into the Capital Farms Convenience store located at 3 Broadway on July 24. He has been charged with attempt to commit burglary, a felony, and criminal mischief. Call was arraigned in Sixth Circuit District Division Court remotely from the Merrimack County House of Corrections at 11 a.m. on July 25. He was held on $20,000 cash bail.

According to the statement, police are working with investigators from around the region in an effort to find out whether or not Call is connected to any unsolved store or commercial burglaries in those communities. Allenstown, Epsom, Henniker, Hopkinton, Manchester, Merrimack, Pembroke, Pittsfield, and Raymond Police are looking into incidents in their towns, according to police.
