LOG: Connecticut Man Arrested After OD'ing on Hall Street
The following information was supplied by the Concord Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
Michelle E. Stape, 23, of Concord, was arrested at 12:42 p.m. on March 6, on a driving after revocation or suspension charge. An officer was called to Planet Fitness on Fort Eddy Road for an accident. One of the drivers, Stape, had a suspended license from Jan. 20, and was arrested. She also received a summons for failure to yield from a stop/yield sign. She is due in court on April 14.
Thomas Henry Chamberland, 28, a homeless man now located in Manchester, was arrested at 10:10 p.m. on March 6, and charged with conspiracy to commit and theft from Jan. 26, at the Walmart on Loudon Road. Police allege that he stole a 12-volt quick charge batter charger valued at around $43. Boscawen Police informed Concord that they had Chamberland in custody on three warrants with $12,000 cash bail. He refused bail and was arraigned on March 6.
James Christopher Hunter, 11:49 a.m. on March 7, on a bench warrant. An officer parked on Old Suncook Road looking for a woman with an active warrant observed a man in a Buick Century and ran the plate. The driver, Hunter, had an active warrant out of Concord District Court from March 5, for nonappearance in court on a bail jumping charge, with $600 cash to settle. The officer followed the Buick and later, arrested Hunter. He posted bail and was arraigned on March 24.

Shaun Anderstrom, 37, of Enfield, CT, was arrested at 10:30 p.m. on March 6, on a felony fugitive from justice charge. Officers were called to Hall Street to assist Concord Fire and Rescue teams with a reported drug overdose call around 10 p.m. on March 5. The man having the overdose was reportedly Anderstrom. “Medics injected Anderstrom with a large amount of Narcan,” the officer wrote in the report. “Within seconds, Anderstrom began breathing, opened his eyes and asked what was going on.” A check with dispatch revealed that Anderstrom had an active extraditable warrant in Connecticut for second degree robbery, a felony charge, from Hartford District Court, on Feb. 10, at the request of the Enfield Police Department. He was transported to Concord Hospital for medical treatment and then placed under arrest. He refused bail and was arraigned.
Courtney Swenson, 28, of Concord, was arrested at 10:45 p.m. on March 6, on a criminal mischief (vandalism) charge. An officer took a statement from a woman who stated that her daughter got into a fight with her and her husband over their refusal to give the daughter money. She alleged that her daughter threw a small wooden box across a room and it broke when it hit a chimney. Officers went to the home to discuss the situation with the daughter, Swenson, who was later arrested. She had a court date on March 31.

Martin L. Mumford Jr., 21, of Concord, was arrested at 12:10 a.m. on March 8, on a criminal mischief (vandalism) charge from Jan. 26, at the Morning Star Apartments on Loudon Road. He was also arrested for possession of a controlled substance. An officer stopped a vehicle on I-393 East, between Exits 1 and 2. The driver, Mumford, had an active warrant and was arrested. During a pat down, the officer allegedly discovered a small bag of marijuana. He had a court date on April 7.
Kevin J. McDermott, 26, of Pembroke, was arrested at 2:28 a.m. on March 8, and charged with simple assault (personal weapons), criminal mischief (vandalism), and two bench warrants. Officers were called to the Concord Gardens Apartment complex for a noise complaint, with people yelling and breaking things inside the unit. A sergeant approached a man who didn’t have a shirt on in the parking lot, screaming, and later, going back in an apartment and slamming the door. McDermott reportedly answered the door and started yelling at police about why they were there. He reportedly told officers that he and his girlfriend had been fighting, first at the Chen Yen Li in Bow, and later, at other bars around the city. They reportedly returned home and began arguing again. The woman stated that the two had been arguing and when they returned home, he allegedly threw a bottle of mustard against the wall, causing a hole in the wall, and later, damaged a bedroom door. A check of McDermott yielded two bench warrants and he was arrested and held without bail.
Kelly Holmes, 41, of Concord, received a summons at 10:25 a.m. on March 8, on an operating without a valid license charge. An officer stopped a vehicle at the Home Depot on D’Amante Drive that came back as unregistered on Sept. 30, 2013. The driver, Holmes, allegedly starting yelling at the officer as she approached the vehicle. “Holmes told me she knew she wasn’t allowed to drive without a valid driver’s license, but only drove to work,” the officer alleged. She was released on a summons and is due in court on April 14.
Robert Holt, 37, of Franklin, was arrested at 12:30 p.m. on March 8, on a bench warrant. An officer saw a Nissan on Clinton Street without an inspection sticker and pulled the vehicle over at the intersection with I-89. The owner, Holt, had a bench warrant from Dec. 18, 2013, out of Salem District Court, for failure to pay a fine, with $447 cash to settle. He was arrested and had a court date on March 31.
Devon Whitehouse, 18, of Concord, was arrested at 4:42 p.m. March 8, on a warrant. Epsom Police requested assistance taking custody of Whitehouse who was reportedly staying at the Lun Hing Motel on Fisherville Road. He was wanted on a forgery and fraudulent use of a credit card charges. Police went to the motel room and took him into custody. A prisoner exchange was performed at the Super Shoes in Chichester.
Christopher Haskell, 19, of Concord, was arrested at 8:46 p.m. on March 8, on a criminal mischief (vandalism) charge. Officers were called to Blevens Drive for a domestic. A man at the home told officers that his son, Haskell, had allegedly “punched holes in the wall” after an argument about having his girlfriend come over. The father stated that while he paid rent, his son still had rules to live by in the house, and he didn’t want the two of them together. Haskell later reportedly left the house but returned, allegedly yelling, while officers were talking with the father. He was arrested and had a court date on April 8.
Fred Marion Tuten III, 42, of Concord, was arrested at 11:53 p.m. on March 8, on a driving while intoxicated charge. An officer on Fisherville Road tracked a Toyota Avalon with South Carolina plates on radar doing 48 mph in a 30 zone. The car was pulled over at the McDonald’s Restaurant parking lot. The driver, Tuten, alleged smelled like alcohol, had eyelids that were red, and eyes that were glassy. He allegedly had problems finding the vehicle registration. Tuten agreed to a field sobriety test and was then arrested. He had a court date on March 24.
