Grand Jury Indicts Concord Man on Sex Crimes

Brad Lizotte faces charges in Rockingham Superior Court.

A grand jury in Rockingham County has indicted Brad Lizotte, 47, of Rumford Street in Concord on three counts of endangering the welfare of a child or incompetent, and single counts of indecent exposure and lewdness and obscene matter offenses, according to court documents.

The indictments that were handed down earlier this month and stated that between the months of June and September 2012, Lizotte allegedly had illegal interaction with a 15-year-old girl from Portsmouth who is now 16, according to court documents.

The indictments stated that during the time period, Lizotte allegedly engaged in various forms of sexual intercourse with the girl. He also allegedly took a picture of his genitalia and an image of himself exposing his genitals, and provided those images to the girl.

The Portsmouth Police arrested Lizotte back in January after the girl’s mother found out about explicit text messages and photos allegedly being shared between the two and went to police, according to published reports.

Previously, Lizotte has been arrested and charged a number of times in Concord, including most recently in January on a possession of controlled drugs charge, marijuana, from an alleged incident in October 2012.

According to prosecutors, Lizotte’s criminal history includes convictions for driving while intoxicated, breach of bail, counterfeiting, receiving stolen property, false reports to law enforcement, criminal threatening, and being a habitual offender, according to published reports.
