Dionne was convicted of attempted aggravated felonious sexual assault in 2004 and required to register as a sex offender, according to police. His last known address was in Concord but before his capture, law enforcement agencies didn’t know where he was.

Dionne though was profiled last week as a Fugitive of the Week on media outlets around the state and numerous tips came in from the Manchester area about his potential whereabouts, according to a statement. The task force spent days following up on each tip with the Manchester Police Department in an effort to locate Dionne, according to police.

“This cooperative effort paid dividends this morning, when an alert Manchester officer that was conducting sex offender compliance checks happened to observe Dionne on foot near the intersection of Merrimack and Lincoln Streets,” according to the statement. “Dionne was arrested at this location without any incident.”

Dionne was charged and processed.

According to the U.S. Marshals, since the creation of the task force more than 10 years ago, more than 5,500 arrests have been made, for various crimes.
