NH Fish & Game: It's Become a Recovery Effort

Concord Fire and Rescue teams were sent to Sewalls Falls on July 5, for a report of a man missing in the water.
For a number of hours, both local first responders, as well as state officials, have been searching the Merrimack River for the man.
New Hampshire Fish & Game officials have reportedly told people at the scene that it is now a recovery effort, and not a search and rescue effort, with the missing man presumed to be drowned.
Concord Fire, Concord Police, and others were called to the river twice on July 4, for rescue efforts. While people are using the river to seek relief from the heat, the flow of the river, particularly the falls area, is swift and dangerous, due to the rainstorms the city has seen in recent days.
