Decomposing Body Reportedly Found in Concord on Route 106

Police have no information about whether foul play was involved in the death.

Concord Police investigators are conducting some kind of investigation down an embankment on Route 106 across the street from Walmart and just south of the Sam’s Club on Sheep Davis Road.

WMUR-TV, as well as a two sources that have relayed information to Patch, report that a body was found at the location.

Officers arrived at the scene around 7:45 a.m. on Sept. 17, and cordoned off the area with yellow tape, according to commuters. The department’s investigation truck arrived at the scene about 9:30 a.m.

Lt. Timothy O'Malley, the commander of the criminal investigations unit for the department, confirmed that a body was discovered in the woods and that it was badly decomposed. The department has no information though about whether or not foul play was involved, he said.
