CRIME LOG: Manchester Woman Charged with Felony ID Fraud
The following information was supplied by the Concord Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
- Dana Christian Roach, 27, of Concord, was arrested at 2:15 p.m. on July 18, on two counts of receiving stolen property. The charges stem from alleged incidents on May 23, and May 25, involving about $400 worth of jewelry. Roach turned himself in to police. He was released on $2,000 personal recognizance bail and is due in court on Aug. 26.
- Katie P. Lucier, 26, of Concord, was arrested at 11:45 a.m. on July 19, on two bench warrants. An officer was called to a motor vehicle accident on Hall Street. When the officer arrived, it was revealed to be a minor accident with no injuries. Lucier, however, had warrants out for her arrest from Concord District Court on June 21, on a driving after revocation charge, and June 28, for fraudulent use of a credit card. She was released on $2,000 personal recognizance bail and had a court date on July 22.
- Corey Ryan Harnum, 22, a homeless man now located in Concord, received a summons at 1:54 p.m. on July 20, for a city ordinance violation. While working a detail at the Market Days Festival, an officer reportedly saw Harnum riding a bicycle in the closed off area of North Main Street. The officer warned him not to ride his bike and Harnum reportedly got off his bike and gave a sarcastic remark to the officer. Later in the day, while on South Main Street, Harnum was allegedly riding his bike again in a closed off area. He was told to get off the bike and was issued the summons. He’s due in court on Sept. 9.
- Cheryl A. Lawson, 28, of Manchester, was arrested at 2:20 p.m. on July 21, and charged with identity fraud, a felony, and theft by deception. The charges stem from an alleged incident on June 4, at St. Peter’s Church on North State Street involving $200. An officer from Concord called the Manchester Police Department requesting assistance in arresting Lawson, which it did. The officer picked up Lawson and transported her to Concord. She was process and later released on $25,000 personal recognizance bail and is due in court on Aug. 26.
- Lanelle W. Toscano, 41, of Concord, received a summons at 3:24 p.m. on July 22, for having animals in a motor vehicle. At around 2:20 p.m., an officer was called to Walmart on Loudon Road for a report of a dog in a Ford with the windows cracked open. The officer took some pictures of the car and the dog and then, reached a hand into the car and could “feel the heat rushing out the opening.” The dog, the officer noted, appeared to be panting and in distress. The officer was able to reach into the vehicle and unlock the door to let the dog out. The officer checked security video to see how long the dog was left in the car and it turned out to be about 30 minutes. At around 3 p.m., Toscano returned to the vehicle and was “initially argumentative” with police but later, reportedly realized the danger the dog was in, according to the officer. The officer issued the summons and Toscano is due in court on Sept. 9.
- Kathleen Marie Foraker, 46, of Weare, was arrested at 3:45 p.m. on July 23, on a conduct after an accident charge from July 20, at the intersection of North State and Warren streets. Officers took pictures of the accident as evidence. She was later released on $2,000 personal recognizance bail and is due in court on Aug. 26. Foraker was also cited for unsafe backing.
- Kyle Edward Bruso, 30, of Concord, was arrested at 12:30 a.m. on July 24, on two bench warrants. Officers on patrol of North Main Street began following a Toyota Highland that had left Margaritas in Bicentennial Square with three men inside. The owner of the vehicle allegedly had previous contact with Bruso who dispatch noted had bench warrants out for his arrest out of Concord District Court for driving after revocation or suspension. The description of the driver matched the description of Bruso so the officer initiated a stop of the vehicle. The driver reportedly told the officer he didn’t have his driver’s license but told the officer his name was Bruso. Bruso stepped out of the vehicle and was arrested. He was later released on $20,000 personal recognizance bail and is due in court on Aug. 26.
- Kyle M. Kniffin, 22, of Northfield, was arrested at 10:39 p.m. on July 25, on a theft charge. An officer was called to Sears on Loudon Road for a report of a shoplifter. A loss prevention at the store said he noticed Kniffin in the shoe department of the store with a backpack browsing around and decided to follow him around the store. A woman was with him at the time too, the employee noted, although she was not involved in the theft. In the jewelry department, the employee stated, Kniffin started looking at rings and allegedly grabbed a box with a ring in it and left the store. The employee verified the ring, valued at about $140, was actually taken and caught up with Kniffin in the food court of the Steeplegate Mall. The officer analyzed video surveillance and Kniffin “can be clearly seen taking the ring,” the report alleged. He was arrested and released on $2,000 personal recognizance bail. Kniffin is due in court on Sept. 9.
- Rickie Scott Stanford, 47, of Concord, was arrested at 9:15 a.m. on July 27, on two bench warrants. While on South State Street, an officer made contact with Stanford who reported that the person police were looking for never lived at the apartment and had just crashed there once. A check of Stanford though revealed two warrants for nonpayment of a fine, $1,200 cash to settle, and nonpayment of fine, $270 cash to settle. Stanford was released on $3,000 personal recognizance bail and is due in court on July 29.
- Joshua Darell Amell, 33, of Loudon, was arrested at 7:50 a.m. on July 28, on a bench warrant. Officers were sent to Rite Aid for a report of a suspicious person. They ran into Amell, who was reportedly waiting for the pharmacy to open so he could pick up a prescription. Dispatch informed the officers that Amell had a bench warrant out for his arrest from July 23, with $695 cash to settle. He was arrested and later released on $1,000 personal recognizance bail. He had a court date on July 29.
- Daniel Lewis Prescott, 23, of Concord, was arrested at 2 p.m. on July 29, on a bench warrant. An officer was called to Alice Drive to retrieve a lost wallet. The wallet belonged to Prescott. During a check it was revealed the Prescott was wanted on a warrant out of Concord District Court for nonpayment of fine on a driving charge. Another officer arrived and they made contact with Prescott who was taken into custody. He was released on $500 personal recognizance bail and had a court date on July 30.
- Tracie A. West, 40, of Concord, was arrested at 11:40 a.m. on July 30, on a theft charge from the CVS on Loudon Road from July 11, reportedly involving a tube of Monistat 3, valued at $22. West turned herself in to police and was later released on $10,000 personal recognizance bail. She’s due in court on Sept. 9.
