ARRESTS: Concord, Contoocook Teens Face Drug Charges

The following information was supplied by the Concord Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

  • , 40, of Pembroke, was arrested at 1:49 p.m. on July 1, 2012, on a violation of protective order; penalty. The charge relates to an incident against his girlfriend, a Concord woman. Evidence collected by police in the case include a CD recording of a phone message, a copy of a DVO, and a pocket knife, which was taken from Nelson at the time of his arrest and held for safe keeping. refused to see a bail commissioner and had a court date on July 2.
  • Jason Webb Goodwin, 31, of Concord, was arrested on July 1, and charged with second-degree assault, a felony, two counts of simple assault (personal weapons), and obstructing report of a crime or injury. He was arrested at 4 p.m. on South State Street. The alleged victim in the case was his girlfriend, a Concord woman. Personal recognizance bail was set at $16,000 and Goodwin is due in Sixth Circuit District Division court on Aug. 6.
  • Shamsi D. Beaulieu, 38, of Concord, was arrested on July 1, on a bench warrant. He was arrested at 7:38 p.m. at the Land and Sea on Henniker Drive. Personal recognizance bail was set at $1,500. Beaulieu is due in Sixth Circuit District Division on July 3.
  • Christopher Engelhardt, 18, of Concord, was arrested at 5:15 p.m. on July 2, and charged with four counts of fraudulent use of a credit card and two counts of receiving stolen property. The charges stem from alleged incidents on June 6 and June 7, at the Tedeschi Food Shop on South Main Street, Market Basket on Storrs Street, and Capital Farms on 3 Broadway. Police allege that Engelhardt stole a New Hampshire EBT card from an 18-year-old Manchester woman who was an acquaintance.
  • Richard R. Ruddy, 23, of Concord, was arrested on July 3, on two counts of driving while intoxicated. He was arrested at 1:15 a.m. outside the on South Main Street. Personal recognizance bail was set at $1,000. Ruddy is due in Sixth Circuit District Division Court on Aug. 6.
  • Shawn Edward Gilpatrick, 35, of Concord, was arrested on July 3, and charged with disobeying an officer, driving after revocation or suspension, misuse or failure to display plates, two bench warrants and two arrest warrants. He was arrested at 8:40 a.m. on South Main Street.
  • , 43, a homeless man now living in Concord, was arrested on July 3, and charged with disorderly conduct and two arrest warrants. He was arrested at 1:45 p.m. in Kiwanis Riverfront Park after reportedly jumping off the Loudon Road bridge. Avery refused bail and had a court date on July 5.
  • Megan O’Connell, 33, of Laconia, was arrested on July 4, on a bench warrant. She was arrested at 12:01 a.m. on Portsmouth Street. Cash bail was set at $85. O’Connell is due in Sixth Circuit District Division Court on July 31.
  • Jesse Moran, 18, of Concord, was arrested on July 4, and charged with three counts of possession of prescription drugs without a prescription, possession of controlled drugs, and criminal trespass. He was arrested at 12:30 a.m. on 15 Fowler Street. Police allege that Moran was in possession of four grams of marijuana, a glass smoking pipe, eight doses of cyclobenzapine hydrochloride, two doses of benzodiazepine, and two doses of citalopram. has a court date on Aug. 13.
  • , 18, of Contoocook, was arrested on July 4, and charged with possession of drugs and criminal trespass. He was arrested at 12:50 a.m. on Fowler Street. Police allege that Boyle was in possession of a glass pipe with one gram of marijuana in it. Personal recognizance bail was set at $2,000. Boyle is due in Sixth Circuit District Division Court on Aug. 13.
  • Alonzo D. Price, 22, of Houston, Texas, was arrested on July 4, on a simple assault (personal weapons) charge. He was arrested at 2:50 p.m. at the on Loudon Road. The alleged victim in the case was his girlfriend, a woman from Detroit, Mich. Price had a court date on July 5.
