ARESTS: Barnstead Man Busted on DWI

The following information was supplied by the Concord Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

  • Michelle Madeline Bean, 26, of Concord, was arrested on Oct. 19, on a simple assault charge. She was arrested at 3:43 a.m. on Canton Circle. The alleged victim in the case was her boyfriend, a Concord man. Personal recognizance bail was set at $2,000. Bean is due in Sixth Circuit District Division Court on Nov. 19.
  • Ryan J. Sherwood, 22, of Barnstead, was arrested on Oct. 20, on a driving while intoxicated charge. He was arrested outside the CVS on North Main Street at 12:30 a.m. Personal recognizance bail was set at $1,000. Sherwood is due in Sixth Circuit District Division Court on Nov. 19.
  • Frederick E. Estes, 44, of Concord, was arrested on Oct. 20, on a facilitating a drug or underage alcohol house party charge. He was arrested at 5:01 a.m. about an hour after an alleged incident on Loudon Road. Personal recognizance bail was set at $5,000. Estes is due in Sixth Circuit District Division Court on Nov. 19.
  • Jesse Gray, 31, of Concord, was arrested on Oct. 20, and charged with two felony counts of receiving stolen property, criminal trespass, and prowling. He was arrested at 4:25 a.m. on North Spring Street. The allege victim in the case was a Concord man who was otherwise known to Gray. Gray refused bail and was arraigned on Oct. 22.
  • Paul S. McCarthy, 31, of Canterbury, was arrested on Oct. 20, on a reckless operation charge. He was arrested at 9:26 a.m. about two hours after an alleged incident on Borough Road. McCarthy is due in court on Dec. 3.
  • Alyssa J. Norton, 20, a homeless woman now located in Concord, was issued a summons at 5 p.m. on Oct. 20, for an unlawful possession of alcohol charge at the Market Basket on Storrs Street. Police allege that Norton took a High Gravity Lager from the store a couple of hours earlier in the day. Police seized a knife from Norton at the time of her arrest. She’s due in court on Nov. 19.
  • Robert James Bryant, 50, of Concord, was arrested on Oct. 20, on a theft charge. He was arrested at 11:55 p.m. at the Cumberland Farms on North Main Street. Police allege that he stole two bottles of Mad Dog 20/20 wine valued at $7.98. Personal recognizance bail was set at $4,000. Bryant is due in Sixth Circuit District Division Court on Nov. 26.
  • Jacob Matthew Noury, 33, of Barrington, was arrested on Oct. 21, on a bench warrant for non-appearance in Concord District Court on a simple assault charge. He was arrested at 12:27 a.m. at the intersection of North Main and Depot streets. Cash bail was set at $500 and Noury is due in court on Nov. 26.
  • Scott Carlson II, 19, of Concord, was arrested on Oct. 22, and charged with unlawful possession of alcohol and transportation of alcohol/open container. He was arrested at 12:55 a.m. at White Park. Personal recognizance bail was set at $1,000. Carlson is due in Sixth Circuit District Division Court on Nov. 26.
  • Shawn Wright, 26, of Tilton, was issued a summons on Oct. 22, for public disposal of human waste. The alleged incident occurred at 1:15 a.m. on Oct. 13, at the intersection of North Main and School streets. He is due in court on Nov. 5.
  • Michael T. Valotta, 30, of Franklin, was issued a summons on Oct. 22, for public disposal of human waste. The alleged incident occurred at 1:15 a.m. on Oct. 13, at the intersection of North Main and School streets. He is due in court on Nov. 5.
  • Kevin H. Halen, 22, of Concord, was arrested on Oct. 22, on a simple assault charge. He was arrested at 1:10 p.m. about two hours after an alleged incident at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church on North State Street. The alleged victim was a Concord woman. Personal recognizance bail was set at $2,000. Halen is due in Sixth Circuit District Division Court on Nov. 26.
  • Gregory Edward Brock, 25, of Hopkinton, was arrested on Oct. 22, and charged with two counts of simple assault (personal weapons) and theft by unauthorized taking, a felony charge, based on two previous Class A misdemeanor charges, according to an arrest report. Brock was arrested at 10:25 a.m. about an hour and a half after an alleged incident at Hannaford on Fort Eddy Road. The alleged victims in the case were two male Hannaford employees. Police allege that Brock stole two bottles of Barefoot Chardonnay, valued at $5. The wine was later recovered, according to the arrest report. Personal recognizance bail was set at $5,000. Brock is due in Sixth Circuit District Division Court on Nov. 26.
  • Matthew Peters, 21, of Concord, was arrested on Oct. 22, on a driving after revocation or suspension charge. He was arrested at 4:59 p.m. on 33 North Spring Street. Personal recognizance bail was set at $1,000. Peters is due in Sixth Circuit District Division Court on Nov. 26.
  • Dick J. Berube, 40, a homeless man now located in Concord, was arrested on Oct. 22, on a bench warrant. He was arrested at 5:10 p.m. at the intersection of Loudon Road and Fort Eddy Road. Personal recognizance bail was set at $50. Berube is due in Sixth Circuit District Division Court on Nov. 26.
  • Lee H. Colby, 28, of Concord, was arrested at 10:20 p.m. on Oct. 2, on a theft by unauthorized taking or transfer charge, a felony. The charge involves an alleged incident at 4 a.m. on July 19, on Johnson Avenue. Colby refused bail and had a court date on Oct. 3.
