Impeachment? Is That Really What You Want to Do?

Not that anyone should care, but I think it’s time for sensible Republicans to re-take their party.  There’s just too much craziness coming out of the GOP these days.  

I mean really, Sarah Palin rants openly about impeaching the President, and all I can think is she wants to paint every Republican candidate into a corner. The first question every GOP candidate for Federal office will now have to answer is this: “If elected, will you act to impeach President Obama?” And if the answer is yes, the next question will be “How else to you plan to avoid taking care of the country’s real problems?”

But you know the one that gets me the most is Speaker Boehner and his plan to sue the President over relaxing requirements on business owners under the ACA.  For goodness sakes, the Republicans wanted to give the small business owners a grace period as Obamacare went on line. The President gave them that, and the Republicans now plan to sue him so they can set up the impeachment process.

All I can say is “knock it off.”  This is not worthy of a great democratic republic, or the wonderful people who have built it.
