Granite State Roller Derby Season Opener

An Amazing Family Event Right Here In Concord.

Granite State Roller Derby will open their season on April 27, at the Everett Arena, 15 Loudon Road in Concord. This amazing event will debut the league's two new expansion teams, the Fighting Finches and the Demolition Dames, in a head to head game. The league's flagship travel team, the Legislashers, will take on the Mass Attack Roller Derby All-Stars in the headelining game, beginning at 6p.m.

Flat-track roller derby offers an entertaining and exciting time for the whole family. Half time entertainment includes demonstration by the Spank Alley Skate Team. A 50/50 drawing will benifit Concord YMCA. Bring toilet paper to donate and receive 1 ticket for the 50/50 drawing per roll.

Children 10 and under are admitted free, adults are 2 for 15 dollars for advance tickets. Season passes are also available for 20 dollars and include a ticket to each of the 4 home games, game programs, and a 10 percent discount on all GSRD merchandise purchased at a game

Advanced tickets can be purchased at www.granitestaterollerderby.com, www.brownpapertickets.com, Spank Alley Skate & Board Shop upstairs at 8 N main St, Concord which is right below the flag shop, Concord Headlines 216 S main St, Concord, and Arnie's Ice Cream 164 Loudon Rd, Concord, also tickets may be purchased at the door.

Fans are invited to attend the game's after party held at Chen Yang Li 520 South St, Bow, NH. Fans will have a chance to meet some amazing veterans of this sport, and some of the new skaters as well, including Belle Dozer, Fury S. Fox, and Val Awsome Raptor.

GSRD was founded in 2010 and is based in Concord, NH. The league's travel team, the Legislashers, has four home games scheduled for 2013, along with away games in several other states. The April 27th home opener at the everett arena doors open at 4 with the home teams starting at 5 and the legislashers at 6. some of the other dates at the everett, are May 18th vs Black Ice Brawlers June 8th vs Upper Valley Vixens, and July 20th vs Shoreline Roller Girls, as always please check the web sites for times and up to date info.

As well for all of the home bouts the doors will open at 4, this is an amazing plus as well that after the bouts the derby women will be available for pictures and autographs so, come out have a great time and cheer on your favorite teams, derby women and get the high fives, pictures and autographs after the bouts
