Woman's Club of Concord Hosts GIRLS NIGHT OUT Scholarship Fundraiser

The Woman’s Club of Concord (WCC) has scheduled a fundraiser to insure young ladies in Capitol Region high schools heading to college next fall can compete and receive a $1,000 scholarship, three were awarded in 2013. 

The historical house is transformed into a relaxing, rejuvenating, and refreshing spa like environment. The three previous Ladies' Spa Night was so successful, that the WCC enthusiastically decided to hold another Ladies’ Spa Night on Friday, April 25, 201, from 4:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. located at the Chamberlin House, 44 Pleasant Street, Concord. The cost is $50.00 for three spa services and $20.00 for each additional service. The time the client receives the specific service is at 20 minute intervals. The spa services include: chair massages, mini-facials, mini-makeovers, foot and hand care, hair care, nutritional/healthy living consulting, Reiki and many more. Deliciously healthy refreshments will be available along with phenomenal raffles! To schedule the spa services, contact Elaine Bello at 617-359-8699 or at Scholarships@womansclubofconcord.org.  Reservations can also be paid for online through PayPal at the WCC website, womansclubofconcord.  It is most highly recommend that ladies, reserve their Spa services and time slots as soon as possible as each of the WCC Spa Events have sold out quickly.

The Woman’s Club of Concord (WCC) has been serving the greater Concord area for over 100 years. The Woman’s Club of Concord awards Annual $1,000 Scholarship to Capitol Region high school senior girls who show academic potential and prowess. These scholarships are made possible through the General Federation of Women’s Clubs (GFWC) and various fundraising events put on throughout the year by the WCC.  The Scholarship application can be download from the club’s website. April 1st  is the deadline for all WCC scholarship applications to be submitted to the club.   womansclubofconcord.org/Scholarship.html.
