Counting the Hours til Christmas Tree Lighting

The countdown has started and final preparations are in place for the 27th annual Concord Christmas Tree Lighting sponsored by Concord Imaging.   There are many wonderful donors and I mean wonderful.  However I have to mention Concord Imaging because last year they came through in the clutch.  This year they increased their corporate donation and I am proud to say Concord Imaging Presents the 27th annual Concord Christmas Tree Lighting.    I am also so pleased with the continued support from Dennis Gaudette and the AutoServe of Tilton family for their major corporate donation.  Over the years, Dennis and Autoserve have been the backbone of this celebration.  It is sad with other auto dealers in Concord, that AutoServe of Tilton has come through for us since 2001.  This year Dennis and his family were there.  The Rowley Insurance Agency on the Heights became a major corporate donor. The Rowley Insurance Agency has supported the recent Christmas Parade and the Tree Lighting for many years.  The NH Federal Credit Union became a Major Corporate Donor this year sponsoring the horse drawn wagon rides and more.  It makes me so happy that people and businesses believe in this event.   David Mailhot Enterprises of Penacook has been Gold Sponsor for many years and he never disappoints me.   I am so happy this year to welcome Jerry Gappens and NHMS back in the Gold Sponsor group.  I have missed their support for several years  so it is so appreciated to have them back.  There are many others who will be listed with banners on display at the Tree Lighting.   I am sad that some who have donated in the past declined this year.   I am also sad that some new businesses were told that our event was not worthy to support as I found out this week.  That they should donate to another event a week later.   As I have stated, the Christmas Tree Lighting is a non profit, family event open to people of all ages.  We don[t expect people to buy something, just come enjoy the music, the activities, welcome Santa Claus, hear Fr Reed from Boston who will do the Blessing of the Creche and Christmas Tree and get ready to light the Christmas Tree and see the fireworks.  Donations are needed and welcomed.      Thanks to Ryan Linehan, tom Cusano, James Cusano, Kevin Tucker, Santa Claus, Fr. Reed,  Concord Fire Department,  City of Concord General Services, and State of NH Traffic Division Employees. I am sure I have forgotten someone but will have a thank you ad soon.  Please call me at 496-2917 for information.
