Concord Restaurants Help Animal Rescue League

New Hampshire Liquor Commission first distiller's showcase benefit held on Thursday.

When the New Hampshire Liquor Commission’s first distiller’s showcase opens on Nov. 21, at the Radisson in Manchester, not only will attendees be able to sample hundreds of “exceptional spirits,” but the money goes to a good cause.

Proceeds from the $60 tickets will go to assist the Animal Rescue League of New Hampshire, located in Bedford.

“The Distiller’s Showcase will provide guests with unparalleled access to explore and sample ultra-premium spirits and discover rare finds, only available at this event,” said Commission Chairman Joseph Mollica. “Attendees will be afforded the opportunity to speak directly to brand ambassadors and obtain first-hand knowledge of products so they can be better educated making future purchases.”

“Any fundraising event that can bring light to local or global situations is always a good reason to get involved,” Fletcher said. “I am sure there will be a great response to the combination for the public’s love of fine food, premium spirits and the help of less fortunate animals.”

Paula Mattis, the president and CEO of the Animal Rescue League of NH, said the organization was thankful to be a part of the event.

“The Animal Rescue League of NH is excited to be a part of the first ever Distiller’s Showcase and grateful that the New Hampshire Liquor Commission is helping us promote the cause of animal welfare,” she said. “We hope everyone enjoys the outstanding distillers and terrific restaurants while supporting our efforts to help pets and the people who care for them.”
