The fashion show you cannot miss! "Alternative Fashion 2014", an Eco Fashion Show Event, scheduled February 1, 2014, from 4-8PM. Located at Southern NH University, at the Dining Banquet Hall; 2500 North River Rd., Manchester, NH 03106.
10% of the profit is donated to Sewing Confidence a Rubia, Inc. program.
$20 per ticket includes: Fashion show featuring eco fashion collections, live music performance, reputable speakers discussing eco, ethical, sustainable, and social responsible fashion, refreshments from A Market Natural Foods, 10+ select vendors; providing alternative clothing, jewelry, beauty products, accessories, skin, hair, makeup and health products.
Alternative Fashion 2014 is supporting holistic fashion businesses, establishing a healthy lifestyle for the future of the fashion industry. Educating, entertaining, and connecting with people for alternative fashion conscious awareness. Promoting the power of fashion that is natural, socially responsible, and free from the synthetic and toxic fashion industry.
Speakers of the event are; Thandi Tshabangu-Soko, Priya Samant, and Martha Jackson. Thandi Tshabangu-Soko, director of Sew Confidence, is a prestigious program from Rubia Inc. empowering resettled refugees women, learning sewing skills, and creating fashion accessories.. Priya Samant, founder of Earth Frendz, another prominent speaker of the event, is a brand of visionary fashion accessories used from previously manufactured fabric scraps. Earth Frendz builds self-empowerment, and socio-economic development for the talented artisans in impoverished areas in India. Martha Jackson, founder of retail store Restored by Design. She works with recycled materials, manufactures locally, and has dedicated herself to eco fashion design among all of her design, work, and ethic practices of her business. All of which are gaining personal growth and perseverance through the power of fashion.
Vendors to sell their products: Ecolissa, Sewing Confidence, Vintage Re-Bloomed, Peaceful Fashions, OutFITters Thrift Store, Earth Frendz, My Heidi Bag, Bamboo Naturals, Young Living Essential Oils, and Blissfully Organic. These eco-conscious businesses are here to sell, promote, and educate us on their product, and accentuate our personal style.
Alternative Fashion 2014 is sponsored by and representing talented, established businesses, whom are sure to make a thought-provoking appearance of their work to make this beautiful event be brought to life! We are promoting designers with all different fashion types; from designer, to the budget conscious. The designers include; Peaceful Fashions, Ecolissa, Restored By Design, OutFITters Thrift Store, and Alyssa Couture.
Alternative Fashion 2014, Eco Fashion Show Event incorporates an elemental configuration connecting all areas of fashion in a universal way. Collaborating with a range of many fashion formats, establishing and co-creating the future of fashion. Problem solving for the critical need of a fashion industry that impractically lacks the spirit of fashion due to toxic chemicals, synthetic fashion, fashion waste, unfair trade and labor, false representations of fashion, etc. Supporting eco, ethical, sustainable, social, holistic, and organic fashion which in effect constitutes standards of healthy attributions of change for fashion today. Our fashion shows, events, execute a creative formula involving an alternative advantage to reaching awareness and making progress through educating the public and within the fashion industry. We believe that when everyone is inspired by the power of beautiful, creative, and natural fashion and design, the toxic fashion world may be resolved in a sufficient manner. Fashion is an important part of achieving a healthy lifestyle. We are participating and approaching natural and substantial methods for fashion for the people, for everyone.
