Karger Documentary Debuts in NH April 4

"Fred," an "inside look at a very out campaign," highlights 2012 effort by first openly gay major party presidential candidate.

If you were paying attention to New Hampshire's First-in-the-Nation Primary in 2011 and 2012, you will remember Republican Fred Karger

The long-shot, openly gay presidential candidate with the blue flying discs and bagpipes following behind him as he knocked on doors all over the state is the subject of a new documentary film that debuts next Friday in Peterborough at the MONiff International Film Festival.

The film, aptly and simply titled, “Fred,” gives a behind-the-scenes look at Karger’s effort as he campaigned to be heard and break down political doors.
