Ardinger First to Hit with Mail

Concord School Board member sends introduction leaflet to "likely primary voters" in state Senate District 15.

While her opponent may be cobbling together a lengthy list of powerful endorsements around the state Senate District 15, Concord School Board member Kass Ardinger appears to be the first candidate to hit the district with a mailer.

When voters around Concord, Henniker, Hopkinton, and Warner went to the mailboxes on July 17, they found a glossy, full color “Meet Kass” leaflet, highlighting her educational and political career, family life, and initiatives if elected, that even touched a bit upon her life growing up in Claremont.

The leaflet also featured endorsement comments from current Concord School Board President Clint Cogswell, former board member and local attorney Bill Glahn, Hopkinton High School Athletic Director Dan Merserve, Pam Peterson, the owner of Godwanna Divine Clothing, Rob Fleischman, an inventor and computer scientist, and Cecie Hartigan, the executive director of the New Hampshire Lawyers Assistance Program.

When asked if the mailer was sent to all households in the district or targeted voters, Ardinger said the campaign was "reaching out to communicate our positive campaign message to likely primary voters."

Ardinger faces Dan Feltes in the Sept. 9, primary. The winner takes on Republican Lydia Dube Harman.
