What's With....the store on 1 Broadway next to Man Yee?
What's with the store on 1 Broadway next to Milano's? Is it open? Not Open? You know the one I mean.... It's next to Absolute Computers in McKee Square...
So to start off my "What's With" on Wednesdays, I decided to start with a little shop, that's close to my heart.
You may have walked by it, on your way to Man Yee for some great Chinese food, or to have your computer fixed at Absolute Computer Options, or even to get your favorite suit tailored at Martha's Sew it All.
You may have even parked by it, when going to grab a soda at Capital Farms, or a terrific salad or sub at Milano's.

It's Gift Baskets by Your Design, and it's my little family business. To put an end to that question that has been on everyone's mind who has walked or driven by...ha ha... It is a gourmet and specialty gift basket company, that focuses on New Hampshire products. The location serves as my workshop, and we have been there three years this November. We are celebrating 10 years in business next month actually, and it has been wonderful. My children have grown up in the business, and we have been proud to offer individual and corporate gift baskets that have been hand delivered locally and shipped globally, while having a local focus. We also custom design for corporate events and for companies that want to offer gift baskets in their product line.
But enough about me. The products that we carry represent small businesses all around New Hampshire and New England. That is the best part. Knowing that with every order, we have helped a local business. From gourmet to everyday, ready to eat snacks to luscious jams (Apple Hill Farm, Fennelly Farm and more), N.H.'s liquid Gold (Maple Syrup from Mapletree Farm), spicy sauces (Beasley's, Crooked Birch), sweet honey (Bee Tree Farm) and chocolate (Granite State Candy) , Kandy Kettle Fudge, Michele's Gourmet Popcorn, to lightly salty and crispy crackers (Craquelins) we have something to fit every need and budget.
