The Chutney House prepares their products without added salt, preservatives, MSG or other stablizers. They are also gluten and nut free.
We first met Tom when he stopped by our workshop in 2010 to introduce himself. (I have mentioned before, this is the best part of carrying local products. You know the people and families behind each one.)

I took the samples home that night, and shared them with my family. We loved them. The jars barely needed a lid by the next day. They were already practically empty.
He makes several different flavors of chutney, marmalade and dessert sauces. We tried the Burgundy Wine Compote dessert sauce. Need I say more? Fantastic over ice cream, makes a perfect compliment to english muffins too. Even alone. It was simply delicious.

We also tried the Green Tomato Chutney, which was a perfect pair to really sharp cheddar. A blend of green tomatos, tart granny smith apples, raisins, lemon juice, with spices such as ginger, nutmeg and cloves. Reminded me of the homemade chutney growing up. Tom truly has a gift for blending flavors.
We use Tom's products in many of our NH Gift Baskets, our trouble is deciding which to use.
You can call Tom directly to order, visit his website, and I have also seen his chutney and dessert sauce at Cimo's Deli when grabbing a sandwich. They have it right on the deli counter! (Oh, did I mention how wonderful his chutney is on a sandwich too?)
Hope you get a chance to try one or all of his products. You will be glad you did.
