Leadership Greater Concord Class Announced

The Leadership Greater Concord Steering Committee, led by incoming chairman, Lt. Lenny O’Keefe, is pleased to announce the selection of the Leadership Greater Concord Class of 2015. Leadership Greater Concord is a program sponsored by the Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce and designed to foster civic awareness and prepare emerging leaders for future community involvement.

The class of 2015 includes Sherry Burbank, Parker Education; Bryanna Dow, Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce; Elizabeth Fay, Lincoln Financial Group; Vivien Green, Centennial Senior Center, Inc.; Andrew Grosvenor, Orr & Reno, PA; Valerie Ipevac, Concord Regional Visiting Nurse Association; Richard Johnson, The Beech Hill School; Jennifer Johnston, City of Concord; Nancy Larson, City of Concord; Timothy Lesko, Granite Investment Advisors; Allison Morris, Concord Monitor; Bridget Overson, The Scott Lawson Group; Kimberly Peaslee, Devine Millimet; Janice Severance, The Image Enhancement Studio; Lori Shibinette, Merrimack County Nursing Home; Richard Sidor, TD Bank; Paula Taylor, Concord Family YMCA; Jody Touzin, Northeast Delta Dental; Jeremy Woodward, Jeremy’s Bootcamp; Kara Wyman, Merrimack County Department of Corrections; and Christina Yoon, FairPoint Communications.

The program begins with a retreat in September and will continue with a series of nine day-long sessions focusing on particular aspects of civic life in Concord, including history and culture, economic development, education, communications and the media, government and politics, criminal justice, health & human services, and spirituality.
