WNHN On-Air Fundraiser Held Friday, Saturday

Nonprofit radio station raising money to stay on-the-air.

WNHN, 94.7 LP in Concord, will be holding an on-air fundraising beginning at 7 a.m. on Friday, May 9, and running through 9 p.m. on Saturday, May 10.
The fundraiser, according to station manager Brian Beihl, is being held to raise money to keep the station on the air. The station's various hosts will be participating in the drive, live on the air.
Currently, WNHN features talk show host Arnie Arnesen, local music DJs and other hosts, as well as syndicated programming from the Pacifica network and progressive host, Thom Hartmann.
The variety of music offered ranges from jazz and blues to oldies, disco classics, and local rock, as well as other styles of music (Disclaimer: I host a weekly alt-rock show on the station).
The staff and contributors are all volunteer.
Beihl stated that listeners can send a donation to WNHN via mail at 26 Pleasant St., 2nd Floor, Concord, NH 03301, or call-in during the on-air drive, to 603-228-0947, and offer a credit card donation. Theres is also a Donate Now button on the WNHNFM.org web page.
