Open Mic Night for Teens at Concord's Market Days Festival

Registration remains open for the poetry “Open Mic Night for Teens” to be held 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday, July 18, during the Concord Market Days festival.

The event is sponsored by the New Hampshire Poetry Society, New Hampshire Poetry Out Loud and the Concord Public Library Foundation and will be held at the festival’s “South Main Street Park,” next to Red River Theatres.

Students may read an original work or the work of another poet. Last year, several high school students who participated in the Poetry Out Loud program, recited the poems they performed during the statewide competition.
