Calling for Peace in the Middle East
About 40 pro-peace, pro-Palestinian supporters hold signs; give speeches at the Statehouse in Concord.
While the Israeli-Palestinian conflict rages on overseas, here at home, some residents of the Granite State were in Concord calling for peace in the Middle East and an end to America’s subsidy of war.
A number of protesters rallied at the Statehouse at noon holding signs and offering speeches on a microphone set up in the plaza. Some called for peace; others called for the end of taxpayer subsidies and military expenditures to Israel.
