Head of Amnesty International USA will also be in Concord.

Concord will be host to members of the World Coalition Against the Death Penalty from over a dozen countries for a special documentary and panel discussion on Thursday April 10th from 6:30 P.M. to 8:30 P.M. at Red River Theatres.

The screening of “Progress Towards World Abolition of the Death Penalty,” will be followed by a panel moderated by Steven Hawkins, executive director for Amnesty International USA, and penalty opponents from all over the world - including Iran, Congo, Taiwan and more.
