The Spectras Play Free Show; Help Clean Up the Audi

1. Another nice weather day. Late August, keep ‘em coming. A bit of fog in the morning and then, mostly sunny skies, with highs in the high 80s. Overnight lows drop down to the high 50s.

3. Audi pitch-in continues. The Concord City Auditorium “pitch-in” days enters its second day with all kinds of volunteer opportunities. Show up from 9 a.m. to noon or 6 to 8 p.m. and they’ll put you to work!
4. The Spectras. At Presidential Oaks at 6:30 p.m., enjoy the cool sounds of The Spectras, in a free concert, rain or shine.
5. Other tunes tonight. Joe Gattuso plays Hermanos at 6:30 p.m. Traditional Irish music will fill The Barley House with sound at 7 p.m.
