Plenty of Time to Help Others

Here's your weather forecast, information, and other stuff for Concord.

  1. Post-storm Sun. Weather forecasters are calling for partly sunny skies with highs in the 30s for more of the day, with a northwesterly wind. Overnight, lows drop down into the teens, with cloudy skies.
  2. Buy | Sell | Trade. There are only a few more days until Christmas. If you have stuff to sell, list it now. Post anything and everything to the Patch Buy | Sell | Trade section!
  3. Carpetbagger or Serious Senate Candidate? Scott Brown is moving to Massachusetts. Should he run for Senate? Let us know – leave a note on the Carpetbagger or Serious Senate Candidate? blog post.
  4. Helping Others in the Community. Jessica Fogg is holding the second annual holiday food drive for the Take-A-Tote Program, which helps feed needy children at the Mill Brook Elementary School. Drop off locations and more information on how you can help can be found in this link.
  5. Donate to the SPCA. Stop by Applebee’s on Loudon Road today between 11 a.m. and 11 p.m. and say you that you support the Concord-Merrimack County SPCA and a portion of your check will go to them.

Would you like your event or information included in the 5 Things, Get Out!, or The Week Ahead previews? Post it in the Boards and Events sections of Concord NH Patch and we’ll try and give it an extra plug!
