Jingle Bell Bash and a Fine Winter's Night

Here's your weather forecast, information, and other stuff for Concord.

  1. C-c-c-c-cold. Brrrr. Weather forecasters are calling for sunny skies today with highs in the mid-20s. But when figuring in the wind, it will be below zero. Overnight lows drop down into the high single digits, with wind chill factors dropping the temps below zero.
  2. Need Quick Cash? Post an item in the Buy|Sell|Trade section of Concord NH Patch and get some buyers to check out things you no longer need. All you need is a Patch account (which you should have anyway, right?).
  3. Caregivers Needed. Home Instead Senior Care and other organizations have seen growth in their industries and are holding a job fair in Manchester, from noon to 6 p.m., for potential caregivers. And if you missed the Patch Tuesday job post, click here.
  4. A Fine Winter’s Night. The Bach Lunch Series continues at the Concord Community Music School at noon on Thursday featuring Matt and Shannon Heaton, Lissa Schneckenburger, and Corey DiMari. Admission is free but bring a lunch.
  5. Jingle Bell Bash. The Concord Food Co-op hosts festive food, drink, and live music by Club Soda for $15 ($10 for co-op members) starting at 6 p.m. Ticket prices benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
