Help the Woman’s Club Raise Scholarship Money

Here are a few things you need to know right now in Concord:

• Weather forecasters are calling for sunny skies with highs in the low 30s but the wind chill factor will make it feel like it’s as low as 9 below. Overnight, possible snow showers with lows in the high 20s.
• It’s lapsit time at Gibson’s Bookstore at 10:30 a.m. Children who are infants to 18-months are welcome for songs, fingerplays, and fun.
• The Woman’s Club of Concord is holding its annual St. Patrick’s Day Scholarship Fundraiser Party at 6 p.m. Enjoy music, food, and fun. The suggestion donation is $30.
• Students at the Concord Community Music School will be performing instruments and singing in a recital at 7 p.m.
