Council to Vote on Sewalls Falls Bridge

Plus, a free car seat safety class at Toys 'R Us.

Here are a few things you need to know right now in Concord:

  • The National Weather Service says there is the possibility for snow showers in the late morning and then the clouds will remain for the rest of the day, with highs in the high 30s. Overnight lows drop down into the mid-20s, with a 50 percent chance of snow. The sun returns tomorrow.
  • The Concord City Council meets tonight at 7 p.m. Councilors will discuss the annual real estate appraisals, will vote on $10 million for the construction of a new Sewalls Falls Bridge, will vote to spend about $1 million to buy land near Storrs Street, will consider a four-way stop for Regional and Chenell drives, will consider modifying the elderly exemption criteria, and will accept various grant funds and donations. • If you have a little one and are confused about your car seat installation and safety, stop by Toys ‘R Us at 6:30 p.m. for a free safety instruction class.
  • Don’t forget, if you have something to say or have a picture to share, post it directly on the Patch site in the Speak Out section.
