POLL: Who Won the Florida Debate?

Mild fireworks and word play. Who do you think won?

The four leftover Republican candidates have moved onto Florida and tonight, they held their first debate on NBC.

There were some mild fireworks and verbal tangling between the four, with the center two, former Mass. Gov. Mitt Romney and former Speaker Newt Gingrich, sword-fighting over lobby and business interests.

The outer two - former Sen. Rick Santorum and U.S. Rep. Ron Paul - stuck to their core issues, as they have in the past, with Paul focusing on the Constitution and Santorum emphasizing manufacturing and his ability to build a coalition to beat Obama.

Who do you think won the debate? Vote in our online poll and leave a note in the comment section.

Food for thought.... NEWT AND SANTORUM CANNOT WIN. To secure the GOP nomination, a candidate needs at least 1145 of the 2288 delegates. Gingrich and Santorum are not on the ballots in states that will provide a total of 564 delegates Missouri, Illinois, Dist of Columbia, Ohio and Virginia . That means that one or the other needs 66.42% of the remaining 1,724 delegates to reach 1,145. This is it people. Moderate progressive Romney or Libertarian Conservative Ron Paul.

Romney is the poster child for the 1%. He thinks making money qualifies him to be president. I am for our Capitalistic system, where given the same opportunities, those that achieve will be justly rewarded, and help those who need it. However, his arrogance and look will further divide our country. He looks like he just got off the 18th hole at his country club. He can not relate to our issues. I think it has been shown, "Wall Street is about Wall Street. Who arranged the extra off balance sheet loan (derivative) to Greece, when their ratings and situation dictated a solution way out of debt, not an additional loan? It was Goldman Sachs the model of what Wall Street wants to be. They had their closing celebratory diner, and received their big bonus. To them that deal defined success.
Now look. Greek children are on the streets, the country looks doomed to poverty. The bankers are out buying
Hermes ties. That is Romney's culture, how he thinks.
Romney's the type of consultant who uses chopsticks at the table even when the Chinese people are using forks.

I feel Ron Paul won but not because he was the sharpest debater. He won because his presents set the stage for asking only irrelevant questions and his lack of participation exposed the conspiracy to silence him. It was a great victory for Paul because people are starting to notice the media control and bias, which generates more interest when they start to ask why?

John, that's ridiculous. Romney had no inheritance from his father. He's earned every penny he has himself. He's worked hard throughout his life. He dedicated 28 years of his life, unpaid, to God, country, state, charity, and even the Olympics. He is known for his generosity, compassion, and willingness to roll up his sleeves to help a neighbor.

On top of that, instead of spending his time drinking, carousing, cheating on his wife and going from party to party, he's led an exemplary life. No, I'm not saying he's perfect. I'm saying his good man.

Now as to your 1% comment. The class warfare being waged in this nation is frankly unAmerican. I'm as poor as the next guy. Mitt Romney's wealth doesn't make me want to take his money from him, his wealth and the way he's lived his life inspires me to work harder so that I may be wildly successful too. But then again, I'm an American through and through and realize you have to work for what you want.

The first three questions were not even relevant to his record or positions and should never have been allowed. They are subjective observations on the election and not debate issues.
