POLL: Did O'Brien Cartoon Go Too Far?

Concord Monitor cartoon depicted House Speaker with a Hitler-style mustache.

An editorial cartoon in Wednesday's Concord Monitor depicting House Speaker William O'Brien with a Hitler-style mustache drew immediate criticism from New Hampshire Republicans. The Republican State Committee and the House Republican Office asking the newspaper to denounce the cartoon and apologize to O'Brien.

But the newspaper didn't back down. Monitor Editor Felice Belman defending the decision to run the cartoon by Mike Marland. The paper by Marland the following day comparing O'Brien to Groucho Marx.
