No More Names Anti-Gun Violence Bus Tour Visits Concord

Clergy read the names of victims until 9 p.m. on June 18; Rally to be held at 5 p.m.

The Mayors Against Illegal Guns group is in Concord on June 18, reading the names of gun violence victims at the Statehouse plaza. The group is in the process of visiting 25 states this summer to raise awareness about gun violence and the group’s belief that more laws are needed.

Temple Beth Jacob Rabbi Robin Nafshi of Concord, the Reverend Kate Atkinson of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Concord, and the Revered Stephen Silver of the First Congregational Church of Lebanon spent the morning reading names of victims.

The number on the screen is the listing of victims since the Sandy Hook shootings.
