VIDEO: NH Women Line Up For Maggie

Democratic gubernatorial candidate announced last week the formation of a Women for Maggie Steering Committee, featuring more than 125 women from around New Hampshire, who are supporting her campaign.

Hassan said she was “proud” to have the support of women leaders from both political parties, who would be working to build her campaign.

“I’m running for governor to make sure all of our children have the ability to succeed,” she said.

Hassan attacked Republican candidates that were “focused on divisive policies that hurt middle-class families” and “interfered with women’s healthcare decisions.”

State Sen. , D-Concord, is heading up the effort, calling Hassan a person “with the right priorities” who could “bring people together” as she had done in the state Senate.

“Maggie has the passion to fight for change,” she said, “and the know-how and leadership to make change a reality.”
