New ConcordTV Show is 'On the Beat'

New program highlights the inner workings of the department.

The Concord Police Department now hosts a new television show on
ConcordTV. Taping began in late January for “On the Beat with the Concord
Police Department.”

Community Resource Officer Ryan Howe, host of the show, has been working diligently with the leadership in the department and the support of ConcordTV Executive Director Doris Ballard, Programming/IT Director Chris Reinhardt, and Concord High School Resource Officer Mark Hassapes to make this vision a reality for the Concord community.

Key segments of the show will include introducing viewers to different divisions
of the police department, such as the Computer Crimes Unit, for example. In addition to interview segments that will provide relevant local information
to our citizens, the show will go on the road and cover law enforcement
related. Show topics will highlight local events like National Night Out, the 4th
of July celebration, and other festivities that might impact local travel.
