Missing Woman Turns Up in Boscawen

Posters alerted Downtown Concord to her absence.

A Concord woman missing since late September has turned up in Boscawen, according to police in that department.

Michelle Martin, 22, of Concord, was picked up in the town just north of the city at around 4:30 p.m. on Nov. 8, on an outstanding bench warrant out of Keene District Court, under the alias “Nicole Cummings,” according to Sgt. Jason Killary of the Boscawen Police Department. Killary stated that the warrant was for a criminal trespass charge from December 2011, out of the Keene District Court.

Killary described her in “good physical health” when police arrested her.

Martin was arraigned in Laconia District Court earlier this afternoon and held on $1,000 cash bail. She’ll be transferred to Cheshire District Court for a pre-trial hearing.

Killary didn’t know if Martin realized that there were people looking for her in Concord.

Posters were put up around Downtown Concord asking people to call the Concord Police Department if they knew where Martin was. She was last reportedly seen on Sept. 27. Martin had worked at a number of restaurants in the city, including most recently, the Subway on Main Street.
